ELEVATING MUSICIAN EXCELLENCE
We believe that the Catholic Church does not have a talent problem when it comes to music, but that excellence is lacking in the common experience of Catholic music.
Through the spiritual, intellectual, and musical formation of Catholic musicians, we help musicians rise to their fullest potential and make a gift of beauty to the Church. We focus these energies broadly, impacting the choir loft as much as the stage.

PARISH & DIOCESE CONSULTING
The parish is the heartbeat of the Catholic Church and the heartbeat of our work at The Vigil Project. Through an encounter with beauty, music is a primary means of engaging parishioners in an active life of prayer and evangelization. We are here to come alongside your community to pray, help inspire excellence in music-making, and together enter into an encounter with Jesus Christ through music.
We can help you refine your sacred music offerings, sort out challenging relational dynamics between pastor and music director, provide catechesis to parishioners on the church's vision for music, transition a music program, create space for devotional music outside the liturgy, and much more. Let's start a conversation about what you're seeing at your local parish.
RETREATS & WORKSHOPS
God constantly calls individuals to serve his church through music, yet often we answer that call by pouring ourselves out without taking time to be poured into. The Vigil Project hosts retreats and workshops curated specifically to the needs of Catholic musicians. These experiences focus on the spiritual, intellectual, and technical facets of our lives as musicians, and offer space for Catholic musicians of all backgrounds to encounter the Lord through prayer and formation.
