See the Brand New Vigil Studios
One of the biggest updates from our ministry is that, after ten years of working remotely and creating our music in many different locations, we finally have a home for our work!
In the Lord’s providence, a generous donor has come forward to jumpstart our “Vigil Home Fund”, allowing us to take occupancy of our new long-term home in Covington, Louisiana. While there’s certainly a need for more donors to get involved, this means that we immediately gained access to our own state-of-the-art studio where we can create more music (and put to the service of other Catholic artists who want to create!), a place to host our musicians when they travel to us for live events, and a home for our team to work in every day.
It would be an understatement to say that this has already been a significant change for our ministry. In just two months of being in our new home, we’ve been able to:
- Record new music! You will hear a new single, “Over Us”, release later this month… stay tuned!
- Advance post-production on Meaning of Music, our long-anticipated eight-episode film series. The episodes are looking incredible, and we expect to finally complete theseries by late summer.
- Create resources for musicians and households alike, including a significant video series to accompany our Word on Fire release, Musica Domestica, later this year.
- Serve other Catholic artists… hosting already three Catholic songwriters who desired a Catholic studio and producer to bring their recordings to fruition.
